Home video gaming is a concept that has been around for more than half a century. Now the industry is well represented and really competitive but it video games consoles weren’t really mainstream at the beginning. Through time we saw different waves and eras of video games consoles with different kind of fame for each.
That’s why i came up with a humble review of the top best home gaming consoles from the beginning to were we are now with portability, VR and cloud gaming at the verge of current trends.

20 – Sega Saturn

Even if nowadays when we think Sega we think about the company developing games, back in the day Sega used to be one of the top console producers of the whole history of video games. The main issue is that Sega was technologically a little bit ahead of their time and game developers weren’t ready to produce such complex games. The Sega Saturn was one of these consoles with great technological potential but not that much original titles and a game library consisting mainly in arcade ports. Same applies to the Dreamcast that was released by Sega years later.
